The exciting thing about spring is obviously the warmer weather, which means you can finally shed some layers and brighten up your color palettes. Our last newsletter with the 3 outfits and 3 budgets got great feedback, so we’re keeping it going seasonally with another one for this spring.

It’s not quite time to pack away the shorts and tees, but in the coming weeks we’ll slowly start adding layers to our daily outfits. But what you lose in warm weather, you gain in style options. Dressing up in the fall has so many options and possibilities. And the colors you wear and layer up with can present some great looking outfits. Here are some thoughts on how to get you thinking about your fall wardrobe.
I love casual clothes. Hoodies and jeans are my jam. It’s almost become a game for me to see how casual I can go while maintaining stylishly appropriate attire for the event. Wearing the right sneakers with the right outfit occasionally helps me achieve this. There’s a bit of an art to wearing sneakers in a manner such that you still look like a stylish guy. We’re going to go through the various “categories” of sneaker and offer a few suggestions on how you can wear them well.

We couldn’t wrap up our spring series without talking about some essential footwear that we like in warm climates. We both love shoes, so we certainly have some thoughts about what you should sport on your feet when summer is in full bloom.
While we obviously love talking about clothes, and even more so wearing them, we think it’s a good idea to start talking about proper care for them. It may seem like a no brainer to just throw all your clothes into the wash, set the water to warm, then throw them in the dryer when done. In some cases, you’d be right. In most, that’d be wrong. We’d like to give you some tips on making your clothes last a little longer, and it doesn’t involve your dryer. We won’t be able to cover everything in one newsletter, but this should be a good start.
