Digging deeper into the age series, we figured we’d start off with men in their 20s. Whether you’re close to graduating from college, or starting to establish yourself in your career/job field, this is not only a great phase if your life, it’s great for style too.
tl;dr – Try everything!
Experimentation
by null
In your 20s, you’re not quite settled into your life yet. You’re still trying lots of new things, experiencing many new things as an adult, and more than likely in the best shape you’ll ever be in. And this falls right in line with your style too. It’s the best time to try out new styles and trends with minimal risk.

Try as many new styles as possible, that might potentially be of interest to you. Because over time, you will refine the items you acquire to build up your personal style. Just remember to have the basics covered.
Quantity Over Quality… kinda

If you’re in your 20’s and haven’t quite honed in your style, don’t focus on spending tons of money per item. Buy lots of stuff, try lots of stuff, until you figure it out. You don’t want to spend $200 on a sweater to then realize that it’s not your thing 6 months later.

Along with experimenting with different styles, you’re also going to be learning what colors look best on you. We can’t tell you what colors will, though we do plan on doing a newsletter about different colors pairing with different skin tones. But try buying many different colors. If you need help on color matching, check out our guide.
